Bill Saffo is the Mayor of Wilmington, North Carolina. The son of Greek immigrants, Saffo was born in Wilmington. He graduated from Hoggard High School, and subsequently earned a B.A. from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. In addition to his service as Mayor, he is also the owner and broker-in-charge of Hanover Realty.
